indicate the heritage of the beer and provide information on best before end and alcohol content

Lauter tun

Is the vessel, in which the liquid components of the mash are separated from the solid ones. The drained liquid is called wort. The solid components are called Treber ["draff"] and are collected at the bottom of the tun. They serve as natural filter.

Leadfree

Non-alcoholic beers are called leadfree in the common language.

Leatherpants

Most frequent occurrence: Bavaria. Poachers preferred leatherpants made from deerskin . For deerskin is considered the finest and most endurable fabric. The poachers irritated and provoked he royal Bavarian forest supervisors as they wore their leatherpants publicly. From us you can order a pair of leatherpants made from genuine deerskin and handsewn in the "Bayerischen Wald" after a 150 year old model.

License to brew

In 1798 Elector Karl Theodor licensed all brew-eligible Bavarians (then only noble men and abbeys were eligible to brew) to brew Weissbier. All royal Weissbier breweries were sold later.

Light

For health conscious connoisseurs we developed a lighter version of the original Schneider Weisse. It is also unfiltered, unpasteurized, and bottle fermented. This light version only has 109 Joules/100ml. Its light values are: 7.8% original gravity and 3.3% alcohol by volume.

Little Schneider

is lovingly called the small 0.3 l [11.2oz] bottle by by connoisseurs.

Lupulin

Is called the characteristic bitter component in hops.
